• top-mounted level switches are designed to provide reliable operation in severe industrial applications. the units consist of a vertical guided tube within which are located sensor switches; magnetic floating sliding over the sterm according to the level in the tank; and swich housing and necessary mounting connection. used are reed switches hermetically-sealed and encapsulated in the stem. because the switches operate on the principle of magnetic-flux coupling with to mechanical connection, fluid contamination of switch components cannot occur. other types like side-mounted, external cage level switches are also offered.
