• decoilers are used for loading heavy duty coils in order to work as coil stands. coils are loaded on expandable drum of the decoilers on the outside diameter in case of cradle type decoilers. main shaft of en-8 toughened to withstand heavy loads is m mounted on 2 radial ball bearing and has shoe-type brakes to maintain required tension during decoiling these are suitable for small strip thicknesses and strips with high surface finish. body of decoilers are made of heavey steel fabrication. decoilers are made in various models and designes to handle coils maximum widths up to 2000 mm and weight of 20 tons
