• para electronics offers discrete semiconductor component test system. model pct- 1 is capable of measuring various parameters of components like diodes, signal transistors, zeners, three-pin regulators, etc and works with any ibm compatible pc. pct-1 and is two programmable pulsed power supplies for input/base drive and for output/collector drive. these drives are controlled through pc with two pc insertable cards that control the drive and measurement parameters. the relay board in conjunction with the test station connects the required voltages to a three pin device under test. the measurement board with adc/ dacs measures and sets control signals and comes in user friendly, menu driven software for ease in handling the system. it is capable of measuring leakage, breakdown, saturation, and gain of various semiconductor devices with user selectable/settable parameters and also capable of plotting curves.
