• pragan engineers has developed an ampoule snap break testing machine using compressed air input. the tabletop unit can be used by manufacturers of glass ampoules as well as pharmaceutical companies using glass ampoules to ascertain the snap breaking srength of all ranges of glass ampoules. the unit is simple in operation. the strength figure is easily read from a dial gauge which gives the reading values in kgf/cm² (the machines have been designed so that the numerical value of the force at snap break corresponds to the numerical value of the air pressure shown on the dial gauge). the air pressure input has to be a above 10 kgf/cm² in order to cover the normal range of snap break values. the machine can be supplied in stainless steel construction apart from the standard model.
