• hi-tech marketing launched the mc-100-5 is a high precision, portable microprocessor based flow computer, which is capable of simultaneously measuring 2 flows, 2 pressures, 2 temperatures and 2 speeds and displaying the results in any of the normal engineering units. the unit provide a comprehensive range of data logging facilities to adjust the storage and retrieval of a series of measurements. an rs232 output is offered which enables reading to be transmitted to a microcomputer or, alternatively, to a printer for hard copy in graphical as alphanumeric format. a 24-column dot matrix printer is built-in to give instant hardcopy of the test results. the data remains stored in the memory after the printing and can then be delivered to a microcomputer. this unit has got features as data logging storage to 96,000 readings. it is powered by rechargeable battery. the sensors for use with mc 100-5 are, flowmeters up to 800 lpm pressure transducers up to 600 bar, temperature sensors up to 120c and speed sensors. further, a software package called `webbcom' is offered by webtec, which can be employed for exciting various analysis and workout on hydraulic calculations.
