• these systems have one signal conditioning circuit through which each transducer signal is presented in turn.the result is an extremely efficient machinery protection device. can be in various configurations from 2 to 8 channels of vibration and/or temperature and is particularly suited to monitoring machines with rotational speeds between 20 and 10000 rpm and incorporating either sleeve or rolling element bearings. transducers accelerometers and/or rtds fitted to the machine are powered for approximately five seconds each and the level compared to pre-defined alarm levels. each accelerometer signal is available on a switched bnc connector on the display panel for data collection/analysis, similar to a standard switchbox, for continuous analogue outputs from each channel are available for data recording.
