ecotool liester, an associate of liester process technologies, switzerland. it is a contact less method that works efficiently and quickly. the hot-air blower supplies hot air through the nozzles, which is directed to the plastic parts to be welded together. it could be adjusted, for welding of various thickness of plastic materials. temperature is electronically controlled from 80°c to 650°c and hot air blow is adjustable from 50 to 600 ltr/min. a selection of 7 different standard nozzles is offered. typical applications of hot air blower are bending/ shrinking/ welding of plastics and thermoplastic materials; polymerisation in glass fibres; hot air welding for roofing membranes made of pvc, ecb, epdm, cspe, etc; and butt-welding of polyethylene/pvc pipes, tape welding, to make water proof pvc or polyethylene tarpaulins and covers of any size.
