Antimony oxide, the inorganic oxide, is fine for different types of industrial applications. Various types of oxides of antimony that includes high tint, low tint, very fine, micro pure and industrial grade are available in the market for related applications. The major application of inorganic chemical is as a flame retardant synergist in plastics, rubbers, textiles, adhesive, fiberglass and paper. As a fining agent or as a degasser this chemical material is effectively applied in the glass manufacturing industries. Porcelain and enameling services use this antimony oxide as a pacifier and paint manufacturers apply it as a white pigment. Its other uses include forming of yellow pigments with other materials. In ceramic industries, small amount of this antimony oxide is used to remove bubbles in optical glass and to decolorize specialty glasses and the brick industry employs antimony oxide to bleach the surface of red-burning clay to a buff color to produce variegated coloration.
