Zinc chloride (zncl2) is a colorless or white compound of zinc and chlorine that is extremely hygroscopic, it is use in soldering, wood preservation, smoke screen, and making other chemical. Zinc chloride solution is non-flammable. It finds wide application in textile processing, metallurgical fluxes and chemical synthesis. Zinc chloride is commonly use in dry cell batteries as an electrolyte where it also acts as a moisture absorbent and corrosion inhibitor. In agriculture zinc chloride form solution that biologically available to plants and animals. In petroleum zinc chloride is used as emulsion breaker and is used to separate oil from water. It is also used in chemical industries, battery industries.
