Bleaching assistant, mostly the oxidizing bleaching agent that include hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide are used to remove color from substances used in the textile industries and are combined with "optical brightners" that are capable of absorbing the wavelength of uv lights to convert the wavelength to different colors making the fabrics look brighter. Sequestrants are the chemical compound that has the ability to form a complex metal ion, which precipitate that ion such as reactive dyestuffs. Textile sequestrant that includes polyphosphonic acids, amino poly carboxylic acids, polyphosphates, hydrocarboxilic acids and polymeric carboxylic acids are densely applied in the textile industries. Chelating agent is a textile chemical compound that is more stable than the simple salt forms and is soluble in water and can be effectively applied in demineralising cotton before dyeing. Stabilizers are effective in the textile industries in the dyeing process and also in paints and coatings.
