Analytical laboratory instruments have wide testing and measuring applications in various industrial, medical and research applications. Calorimeters measure heat flux. Some instruments used to perform chromatographic separation and in producing chromatograms. Like gas chromatography is a technique used to separate volatile organic compounds. Gas chromatography columns are of two types such as packed and capillary. Analytical laboratory instrument are used to measure travel through the column at a rate primarily determined by their physical properties, and the temperature and composition of the column. Gas chromatography detectors identify solutes as they exit the chromatographic column. High performance liquid chromatographs are one mode of chromatography. Water quality photometers and colorimeters are ion-specific computer-interfaced probes, used to determine the concentration of a solution from its color intensity. Property testers are used to determine various physical properties of samples, including distillation, vapor pressure, and cloud, flash, freezing, melting, or pour point. Polarimeters are used to determine the amount of polarization of light. Extensometers are used to indicate the deformation of material while it is subjected to stress and fluorometers measure the amount of fluorescent radiation.
