High Voltage Fuses

High voltage fuses are designed to meet the high voltage and high power applications. These fuses are mainly used in high voltage circuits to protect the electric circuit from over loading and short circuit. They build with high-power breaking capacity and applicable to different industries, as they require heavy power supply. High-voltage falling down type fuse is suitable for high power distributing line type distribution transformer. They protect the line and transformer against short-circuit and overload and capable of fitting with the hooked rod of load break operation to make and break an idle transformer, an idle line and loading current.

They come with temperature limiter, tag mount and ferrule design suitable for motor circuits and transformer protection. Sealed version high-voltage fuses are for hazardous locations. They use different fuse wires like copper, aluminium, platinum, iron, tin, lead, and tungsten depending upon the application standards.
