Battery Discharge Resistor Unit

Battery discharge resistor units are designed to perform periodic discharge tests on station batteries. These resistor units are made specially to check initial battery performance, guarantee smooth operation of back up system during emergencies and improve overall health and life of battery system.

It comes with robust assembly consisting of copper - nickel alloy wire grid elements supported by s.S tie rods. Castors are also provided with these units for easy mobility. The resistor bank has adequate trimming facility (coarse and fine) to maintain a constant current against falling voltage during discharge operation. The unique rate of discharge can be accurately controlled and monitored which serves as a distinct advantage over other conventional methods of discharge.
