A magnet is an object that has atleast one north pole and one south pole. When broken into several pieces, each piece again has one north pole and one south pole. Magnets are easily attracted to steel and steel produucts and so a magnetic base is very useful in the industrial sector. By adding a round base magnet one can hold and position shop lights, tools and plants. These convenient switchable magnetic bases function better in positioning steel surfaces such as refrigerators, metal beams and doors. With strong magnetic bases, one can suspend bulky items like spotlights, speakers etc. Different magnetic bases can lift different amounts of weights and so one can choose the base according to ones requirements.
