   •  Frp sections for electrical application is the latest attraction from ercon composites. These sections have very high strength, excellent corrosion and uv resistance, high electrical insulation and very smooth and aesthetic finish. The sections are offered in various sizes and shapes in isopthalic polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resins reinforced with glass fibre. The selection of resin depends on the end-use, ie, corrosive application, electrical insulation application and operating temperatures. Ercon frp sections such as rods, flats, angles, channels, tubes, studs and nuts are used in ht transformers and switchgears for various insulating and mounting applications, drop out fuse tubes, etc. Also suitable for manufacture of frp cable trays,earthing rods, gratings, ladders, etc..
