Sample time and hold time can be set from 1 second to 24 hours. It has audible and visual alarms when the count limit is exceeded. Count data are stored in the memory for easy transfer to a printer or computer. Model 227 has several counting modes for quick analysis of cleanroom conditions. Besides manual and automatic, concentration and average modes are possible. The beep mode is useful for locating leaks in hepa filters.
