The stepper motors are of standard 42 mm diameter with thickness of only 15 mm. They come in 2 formats bipolar and unipolar. The bipolar type motors can produce torque of up to 2 kg cm. These motors far exceed demanding international standards of technical excellence. The mean time to failure (mttf) for the motors is in excess of 11000 hrs. These motors can also be used in handheld medical equipment like small printers, plotters, automation machines or assembly lines. Since these weigh only 90 gms, they are also well suited for applications in ambulatory robotic processes. The manufacturing p rocess has in-built flexibility to incorporate any changes in technical needs in order to meet a wide spectrum of user needs. .
