• Introduced by vishalk electromag industries the dc stepper motors are hybrid type two-phase or four phase uni polar or bipolar motors, which transfer electronic signals into mechanical motion. The motor shaft circles at 200 steps/rev in full step mode or 400 steps/rev in half step mode and can be driven in either direction. It can be driven at high stepping rates with chopper current drive. These stepping motors submits many advantages as an actuator in a digitally controlled positioning system. They can easily be interfaced with a microcomputer or microprocessor to cater opening, rotating, reversing, cycling, closing and highly accurate positioning in a wide variety of applications. Mechanical components such as clutches, gears, brake and belts are not required since stepping is accomplished electrically. Because of detent torque, the motor applies holding torque at standstill to help block unwanted motion. The motors rugged construction ends in long life and eliminates the need for regular maintenance. These stepper motors are offered in a nema frame sizes 2.3" (dia 58 mm), 3.4" (86 mm), and 4.2" (108 mm), with full step angle 1.8° and half step angle 0.9° and step accuracy of ±5% non- cumulative. Voltages available are 5, 6, 12 or 24 v dc. Holding torque is available from 2 kg.Cm (in 12 different models.) imported stepper motor rewinding/repairing can also be done, or its equivalent motor can be availed..
