• Cosmos impex has developed a milling and turning machine using the new concept of "relative movement" from olympic seiki, taiwan. The unique relative movement design equals balanced inertia and provide extremely high speed. The s-500 and s-650 tapping/milling machine and machining centres not only have one of the fastest rapid traverse in the world (96 m/min/3800 rpm), but are also equipped with a fast automatic tool changer (atc * 24 t) which is outfitted with a roller cam system for fast and reliable tool changing. The automatic pallet changer (apc) is standard tool, which is used with a lever mechanism using any hydraulic or pneumatic control; moreover, a curved coupling is available for clamping/unclamping gurantees high accuracy. The spindle speed for the s-500 is 15000 rpm and the s-650 is 12,000 rpm. Both machines are outfitted with the international standard hsk-11 tooling system and patented designed pull stud for excellent spindle performance and reliability. .
