• U-tronic are nc heads controlled by the u-axis of the machine tool. This head is applied to the horizontal boring mills, machining centres and spms and can be fitted automatically, manually or through palletised system. These heads are applicable to micro boring, inner and outer turning, profile turning, id and od grooving, undercutting, tapered bores, concave and convex radiusing, tapered threading, phonographic sprials, and simultaneous matchining by interpolation of other axes. These heads are available in 8 models including a range from dia 180 to 1000 mm with internal coolant supply, the small version heads 180 and 200 bh are includes with counterweights which allow high rpms with insignificant vibrations. Special version u-tronics with 2 slides and with self-balance counterweights are available on request. Facility to use automatic tool changer for changing tool holders on the u-tronics is possible. .
