• Efficient economical air-cooled ceramic band heater is specifically designed for the blower air-cooling process/applications on extrusion machines by hitco. Heater band is 60% open by perforated metal sheet, ensures maximum surface exposure for better cooling, it is also covered with blower cover for mounting the blower. The plus points of air cooled over liquid colled operation include, low cost, easy replacement, low maintenance, no leakage problem and uniform temperature control. Its features include super efficient and economical specifically designed for the blower air-cooling process/applictions on extrusion machineries; increased-cooling capacity is achived by increasing the surface area o fthe barrel with specialty designed heating cooling elements; are made from highly conductive ceramic material in a special design; fast delivery of complete unit from 60 to 300 mm; diameter with easily fitted due to simplicity of construction; uniform barrel temperature is attained by using the entire surface area of the bareel; and heat is controlled by a cooling system. The units available with in-built insulation are 25 mm thick. Delivery is consistered complete with a metal housing incorporating the flange for the cooling fan and electrical connection box. Maximum watt density=60 w/square inch with or without blower jackets. Other benefits are perforated heater with fins a provide faster cooling. .
