These machines are fully automatic powered buy 1 hp motors. Stroke of the machines can be adjusted such that maximum compaction pressure can be attamp of die of maximum diameter 70 mm can be fixed onto the machines, which will produce tablets of maximum 50 mm square, or round tablets. If smaller tablets have to be made then the number of cavities in the die can be extemded, thus increasing the production. Capacity of the machines is 100 strokes per minute and accordingly the production of tablets can be calculated based on the number of cavities in the die. Powder is fed into the hopper from where it entres the die cavity through a chute. When the machine is switched on, a feeder arm pushes the powder into the die and simultaneously pushes out the finished tablets from the previous stroke. .
