• Useful for checking total composite error, tooth to tooth error, pcd and backlash is the mikrotech gear-rolling tester. The equipment consists of a solid and robust base, which has one floating slide while the other is fixed. The floating slide is mounted virtually free without play and friction, floating on high quality precision needle bearings, and ensures maximum exactness and repeatability. This slide is connected to a dial gauge, which indicates the variation. Gear mounting arbors are available with the equipment, which are fixed on floating and fixed slides, respectively. The floating table provides extremely free and fine movement and thus accurate test results are accomplished. The suitable mechanical assembly is incorporated in the equipment to enable users to set the spring pressure depending upon the module of the gear. The scale is fixed on the base of the equipment and a vernier scale is attached on the floating slide. The centre distance is shown on the vernier scale. The high centre column is available for checking shaft gears. The spur gears ranging from dia 40 mm to 350 mm and 3 shaft gears up to 750 mm length, can be checked.
