Made of cast aluminium with an integral wall between the measuring element and the window the solfrunt gauge case is. Designed for optimum safety the gauge is in all stainless steel pressure releiving back.To suit a variety of applications different bourdon materials like phosphor bronze, ss 316, ss 403 and monel are available. The movement features geared arc-loc with components of corrosion resistant 300 series stainless steel bushings and can be removed for examination and cleaning without disturbing span and scale shape adjustments. Zero adjustment is provided as a standard in the micrometer pointer. A `zero band' scale marking that is equal in width to the extremes of the guaranteed accuracy of the gauge is provided for easy checking and calibration of zero. Standard features also include an integral minimum stop to protect the bourdon. The liquid filling capability supplied extend the service life of gauge wherever corrosive atmosphere and/or severe operating condition prevails. The liquid effectively dampens pulsation and vibration while providing continuous lubrication and protection from corrosion for the gauge internals. Specially designed stainless steel rear blow out panel and atmosphere pressure and temperature compensation vent are standard features..
