• Pyrotech electronics comes through with a speed measuring system, which is highly reliable and uses solid-state components that need no maintenance even under harsh industrial environments. The system consists of proximity, speed to ma converter and indicator/controller. The proximity gives pulse output and converter accepts pulses from proximity and gives standard 4 20 ma isolated output. Dcs/plc/indicator or controller can use the 4 20 ma isolated output. The company also offers dual output converter. The power supply for proximity switch is in-built with converter. In the controller there are two set points with relay changeover contact rated for 6 a resistive load at 230 v ac. The accuracy of the system is ±0.25% or better, and linearity is ±0.25% of span. It operates on 110/220 v ac supply and housing of converter is made of high impact abs for field mounting with ip 65 class protection (equivalent to nema 4). Digit indicator housing is of extruded aluminium. This unit is also used in petroleum, chemical, steel, cement, sugar and other process control industries..
