• Offered by ravika instruments the dead-weight vacuum gauge tester is used for calibration of vacuum gauges and other sensing, transmitting and recording vacuum instruments. Designed to serve as a quick and convenient method of testing, it eliminates the error caused by mercury manometer. The tester comprises of a hand-operated screw pump to generate the vacuum conveniently and precisely. A free piston assembly of special steel, hardened, tempered, ground and lapped to accurate size having a fine finish for true floating action is mounted on a rigid stand and sturdy base plate with levelling screws. A set of weights marked directly in convenient values of vacuum is also provided with the tester. A valve opening to atmosphere is also provided. The tester is available in 0.1 to 0.96 kgf/cm , 50 to 710 mm hg and 2 to 28 in hg ranges..
