This is a particularly cost-effective tool, suitable for use in production and quality control departments. It has been designed to meet a wide range of spring testing requirements. Springs can be tested in tension, compression and torsion, with both load and deflection/length values being displayed digitally. Flexibility and versatility are key attributes of the system's design. The robust test stand is able to accommodate loads of up to 1,000 n (100 kg), and could alternatively be supplied with a higher sensitivity force gauge for testing delicate springs with sensitivity of less than 1 gram. Higher capacity systems are also available. The afg has facility of rs-232 interface and with help of optional windows- based software, the load and extension can be downloaded ana plotted on pc.
