Salient features of this equipment are: i) corrosion test for coolants in glassware as per astm d 1384 - the corrosion inhibitive properties of the coolant solution in glassware are evaluated on the basis of the weight changes incurred by the specimens; ii) testing apparatus of circulating corrosion property as per jis k 2234 - this method evaluates corrosion properties of various metal test pieces with circulating solution (coolant); and iii) testing apparatus for corrosion of cast aluminium alloys in engine coolants as per astm d 4340 and jis k 2234 - this test is used to determine effectiveness of engine coolants in combating corrosion of aluminium casting alloys under heat-transfer conditions that are present in aluminium cylinder head engines.
