• Sip tools presents a range of adjustable indicating dial snap gauges. These are pretty much useful for checking diameters, lengths and thicknesses of spindles, shafts, bolts, etc. The mainframe is made of alloy steel by investment casting process. Measuring spindle and anvil spindles are made of hardened stainless steel, with carbide tipped measuring faces. Actual dimension of work-piece can be determined with absolute correctness. Any dial indicator having 8 mm stem dia can be fitted into these gauges. Its advantages are as follows: each gauge covers a particular range and within the range, can easily be adjusted with the help of round masters or gauge blocks; and it kills completely an error of operators feeling, due to constant pressure, provided by built-in compression spring..
