• Spm instruments india pvt ltd presents their latest product fixturlaser shaft 200.This is a laser based measurement system used for alignment of machine trains, coupled machines and offset mounted machines with cardan shafts. The system is meant for use by quality, maintenance and service departments. It is said to be the first system in the world that can handle the essential alignment problems such as warped bases, straightness of shafts and thermal growth-all in one instrument. It includes of a receiver, a laser and an application software. Two low power semiconductor laser diodes with collimating lenses are used to create the laser which is modulated in order to evade interference form other light sources. The receiver is in the form of two single-axis position sensitive detectors (psd) which respond to the laser beam moving over the detector surface. They change the laser beam into a charge and ensure quality by maintaining linearity. The microprocessor uses the software to course the signals from the detector and calculate the result, which is then displayed graphically on the screen. The fixturlaser can measure up to a distance of 20 m and store 100 measurements. What makes it extremely easy to use is the touch sensitive display and an icon based user interface..
