It has been redesigned to make possible inspectors and quality managers in many industries to decide the thickness of individual layers in a multiple layer coating system with just one measurement. Readings for up to five layers are hinted at simultaneously in numeric and graphic format on the large, built-in display. This clear, distinct presentation of the readings makes the gauge setup quicker and simpler than ever before. Users can navigate through gauge operations by means of a simple pop-up menu system. Jobs can be annotated and documented on board or with a pc and posisoft analysis software for windows which is supplied when the memory alternative is selected. Additionally, it has a rs-232 port for printing to serial printers, and a built-in infra-red port for use with a wireless ir printer.
