the dms 680 universal length measuring system. It is a high precision, pc based machine for calibration of ring gauges and plug, plain and taper thread plug and ring gauges, external and internal micrometers, snap gauges, gauge blocks, dial indicators, electronic probes and involute profile spline gauge. It fully complies with abbe's comparator principle and it equipped with high accuracy heidenhain glass scale and an tractable worktable for easy location of inversion point. The measuring range for external is 680 mm and for internal is 480 mm with a resolution of 0.1 mm (0.01 mm optional). ‘micronet’ gauge management and measurement software comes with the machine. The software fulfils iso 9000 needs, guides the operator through all calibration procedures and does automatic tolerances calculation for plain, thread and thread pipe (taper) gauge, both internal and external as per amso/asme standards. Complete gauge records can be protracted including calibration date, location, cost centre with sorting by above criteria or by code. At the end of any measurement procedure, the software allows to automatically print an inspection report including gauge data, theoretical measurement and actual measurement values..
