• The new microprocessor-based electronic comparator, presented by tmc measuring instruments pvt. Ltd., is tractable and can be adapted for a wide range of applications.The range of unit selectable is ±2000/±200mm with resolution of 1/0.1mm respectively. The input channels can vary from single to four probes with auto mastering, preset (any value within the range) ‘hold’ and ‘memory’. Statistics like range, minimum, maximum, mean and standard deviation can be seen on the led display for each channel or summary statistics. A programmable keyboard permits setting of tolerance limits and after completing measurements, readings may be clarified as required. It is also possible to customise the display to indicate table, shims, gaskets selection for use in the manufacturing process. The micro 102rs can be used for varied applications such as height diameter, straightness, taper and squareness measurements. Using a standard rs 232 output, the device can be linked to a pc for further advanced statistical processing or to a serial printer..
