this offers a conventional analog 4 20 ma output and the highway addressable remote transducer (hart) together with through the -lens sighting capability. These sensors declare over the 2 wire loop using hart, which permits remote communication with sensor in either point-to-point or multidrop installation. Concurrent analogue and digital communication is provided by super imposing a frequency fsk signal on the analog signal. This allows networked control and communication from pc rs 232 serial port using a hart/rs 232 adapter. Thermalert sx units are available with several focussing options and spectral responses with a choice of four spectral responses (8 14 (m, 3.9 (m, 2.2 (m and 5 (m) and temperature ranges from ( ) 18°c to 2000°c, including a special unit for glass application. Laser aiming is also available on selected models to allow precise sensor alignment to pinpoint small targets..
