• Toshniwal industries introduces the raynger mx family of handheld, infrared thermometers manufactured by raytek, usa. This measures, without contact, a temperature range of ( ) 30 to 900 °c and has an innovative 16 point laser circle spot sighting with a center aiming point that explains the circular target area being measured. Model mx2 is the standard model, which helps temperature measurement by just pointing, shooting and reading the temperature. Model mx4 is the high performance model which besides non contact temperature measurement, accepts k and j thermocouples and thermister (ntc) contact type temperature probes, has facility for ac power adapter and allows for analog (1mv/°c) and digital data (rs232c) output. The mx4+ package includes windows compatible data management software for temperature graph and trend analysis, a thermocouple k type probe, an rs232 computer cable and a plug in power adapter. Both mx4 and mx4+ have got memory to store up to 100 data points. All models have high quality optics (distance: spot ratio of 60:1) which allow temperature measurement from long distances, unique bar graph display to automatically chart the last 10 temperature points, 0.1° resolution, ±1% accuracy, audible and visible alarm, 250 msec response time and lockable trigger to enable proceeds temperature measurement..
