• Universal length setting gauge is the latest attraction from trimos metrology (i) pvt ltd .It's manufactured by trimos (switzerland) .Offered in lengths up to 1500 mm, it's a natural addition to any shop or facility working with large parts.Instruments can be set and checked right on the shop floor, in the same circumstances they will be used . It can be used with many standard accessories for actual part measurement. New, improved digital display allows for increased functionality such as min/max, better resolution to 0.001 mm/0.0001 mm and direct rs-232 output for printout or computer hookup. The setting instruments comprises of a cast iron base, a fixed saddle subsistence and a measuring carriage. Precise movement of the carriage on the guideway is secured by high clarity, linear ball bearing races. The measuring carriage is in disorder by an advanced handwheel design that incorporates an internal clutch/spring to supply constant measuring pressure and exterminates any operator "feel"errors. For small adjustments of the measuring carriage a differential screw ensures fine adjustment. Unit stability is excellent thanks to the use of a 3-point base. The system was developed to meet the high quality requirements of international iso-9000 and q-9000 standards. It is provided with the manufacturer's certificate against traceable references, certified by swiss federal office of metrology.
