• Global-tech (india) introduces a wide range of inductive proximity sensors made by hans turck gmbh & co, germany. These sensors operate on a new detection principle. In addition, due to their ferrite-less 3-coil construction, they incorporate features, which arrange them with significant advantages for a wide range of applications in comparison with the conventional sensor. The housing sizes and types range from smooth stainless steel barrels with a diameter of 4 mm to rectangular housings with an active face featuring a diameter of 90 mm. Sensors with analogue output are also available, which provide a current or voltage signal proportional to sensing distance. Advantages: same sensing distance for all metals (no reduction factor); immune to electro-magnetic ac or dc fields; extended sensing ranges of up to 100% more than that of conventional sensors; high switching frequency; and extended temperature range (up to 120°c)..
