• Presents mas joint sealant chemically inert 100% expanded ptfe fluorocarbon material.Though very soft it has very high tensil strength,flexible & tough properties & conforms easily to irregular surfaces, & forms thin, wide ribbon under pressure it is used in corrosive chemicals and fluctuating tempreatures.It does not cold flow or creep and replace gaskseting materials like asbestos, rubber, etc. Technical data: material-100% pure ptfe, produced in an expanded microporous structure-240 c to +270 c (for short bursts + 310 c); ph range--14 ph except molten alkali metals and elementals flurorine; and pressure--3000 psi(210 bar). Fields of applications: all media with ph value 0-14, eg, acids, caustics, solvents, paints, oils, grease, steam, etc; food applications and also in vaccum; equipments, glass lined vessels, gearboxes, flanges, heat ex-equipments, glass lined vessels, gearboxes, flanges, heat exchanges, man-hole covers, tanks, ducts, reactors, etc .
