• Soft start temperaature control system for precise temperature control of hot runner system (hrs) used in plastic injection moulds comes from leo electro systems. The system comes in single or multichannel with capacity ranging from 1 kw onwards. The cartridge hearters used in the hrs being hygroscopic by nature absorbs moisture, which can create short circuit and destroy the heater when full supply voltage is applied initially. This is taken care by the system by applying a reduced voltage intially till such time the moisture is baked out and no dampness remains. Thereafter the phase angle fired thyristor circuit takes over the temperature control part. .
