• A system developed by sands for electricity utilities is unique in many ways. Developed around a micro-controller and dsp (digital signal processor) and monitors energy, frequency, voltage and current in all the three phases and will trip single or more phases in the event of any overload, over voltage or any other malfunction. It also gives out power factor, phase angle, power and energy consumed per phase (active, reactive and apparent). In can also be programmed to give out records of any tampering, wilful or otherwise. And can store data for a period of forty five to 90 days for downloading and further processing. .
