• Single-check valve couplings-introduces by orion engineering are available up to 3" size for different applications. These couplings were used for connecting portable air tools and equipment to air lines. They were made available from 1/8" to 1/2" sizes, up to pressure f 300 psi (21 kg/cm). The couplers are fixed on the supply end of the line to shutoff the fluid supply when the coupling are disconnected. Adaptors have no valving and upon disconnection exhausts the downstream media. Enen in a liquid line, this would not be mechanical detrimental unless fluid loss would interface with a holding circuit or polluted the area around it. The valve couplings and offered in 2 types, viz, series sc-3 and sc-4. Both the series have valved coupler plain adaptors. Series sc-3 and sc-4 have workin pressures of 300 & 400 psi and come in sizes of 1/4" (min) to 1 (max) and 3" respectively..
