• Omicron offers high vacuum pump of oil immersed rotary vane type. The main assembly contains with a main body with rotor (piston) mounted eccentrically in it. The rotor is available with two vanes opposite each other, with spring between, which presses them against the inner wall of the main body. As the rotor moves, the vanes move in and out of the rotor and sweep the air space twice per revolution. Material of the product is made by cast iron from the company's foundry. All parts are made with micro finished and assembled to close tolerances for high efficiency. Salient features: high efficiency; elegant in appearance; robust in construction; compact in design and minimum in weight; fitted with inbuilt air ballast; quick and easy oil changing arrangement; easy inspection of oil through window; throughly used on mcleod gauge; ready availability of spares; models up to hsv-12/hsd-12 are air cooled type with single phase motor; models from hsv-13/hsd-13 are provided with water cooling jackets with three phase motors.
