• Itt richter offers diaphragm valves. These products are reasonably priced and are therefore some of the most widely used shut-off, control and throttling valves. Pfa/ptfe-lined diaphragm valves are applied for corrosive, pure and ultra-pure liquids, gases and vapours in chemical, pharmaceutical, food and industrial process. These products are hermetically tight. The valves mv/mvp are soft-sealing and gas-tight. They are applied at operating temperatures of -30 to +150c (+20 to +300f). The wetted materials are fda-approval. They are applied for pressures up to pn16 (up to dn50, up to pn10 for dn80 and larger) and for solids-free and slightly solids-laden media. These products are available with anti-adhesive wetted pfa/ptfe surfaces and external corrosion protection (the body with epoxy coating). The bonnet, handwheel, valve stem, nuts and bolts all are offered in stainless steel material. The valves are operated by handwheel or by pneumatic/electric actuators. The adjustable travel ends at the seating thrust and thus prevents damage to the diaphragm. Other choices are pas plastic (polyarylsulfone) made bonnets and handwheels, and are highly chemical and thermal resistant proven in the pharmaceutical and bio technology industries, metallic diaphragm valves to mss and etfe linings. .
