• Kmt taps are exactly involved in making taps for production thread tapping of nuts composed of mild steel, alloy steel and stainless steel. Nut taps are made from sufficient high-speed steel, which is carefully machined and heat-treated. Heat-treatment is done in-house using high temperature salt bath furnace outfitted with radiation based temperature controlling system. Thread parameters are checked on profile projection machine and taps size are controlled using latest metrology tools. Strict quality control measures are adopted at every stage of manufacturing. These are manufactured in following types: hand taps and short nut taps, machine taps and pipe thread taps. .
