These thermometers can be used by anyone as there is no need to focus or calibrate the instrument. The km series makes it easy for users (skilled, unskilled or otherwise), to measure the temperature of an object, quickly and accurately, by pinpointing the spot with a laser beam. It provides accurate, repeatable measurements even for targets as small as 20 mm in diameter, at a distance of 150 mm. It can spot heat problems early in any electrical or mechanical systems, machinery and equipment, facilitating preventive maintenance and reducing machine down time. The km series is ideal for a wide range of applications where the product is in long-term storage at very low temperatures. The thermometers are available over a measurement range of -32șc to +500șc (or different models which range from -32șc to +2,oooșc). They provide flexibility for a variety of additional uses, including intrinsically safe versions to measure temperature as well as radiation, ideally suitable for class i underground applications in coal industries, electrical, hvac and plant maintenance, automotive and other engine diagnostics, commercial printing, plastic moulding, asphalt, concrete and roofing applications, food processing, etc. Since there is no need to touch what is being measured, temperature of hazardous, hard-to-reach, rotating surfaces, monitoring bearing temperatures, electrical connections, etc, can be done without accident or contamination of sensitive materials..
