• Dead weight vacuum gauge tester 'ravika engineers' presents testers for calibrating vacuum gauges and other vacuum and pressure sensing, transmitting and recording pressure instruments upto 760 mmhg vacuum is developed by expansion of air inside the large capacity screw pump. The free floating piston is suspended vertically downwards force produced by difference of atmospheric pressure and reduced pressure inside the tester is balanced by calibrated weights. The tester has a built-in screw pump of adequate capacity to generate vacuum by turning a handle permitting easy and accurate settings. Free piston assembly of special steel, hardened, tempered, stress relieved (artificially aged), ground and superfinished to accurate size and very fine surface finish provides true floating action. Set of weights of phosphated m.S. Or ss304, directly marked in convenient values of vacuum and easily stackable on the weight carrier which is attached to the free piston are provided. The whole assembly is mounted on a sturdy baseplate provided with leveling screws and a sheet metal cover protects the internal piping from damage.
