• Oil immersion heaters use a dielectric material to support the coiled heating element and the heater tube is pressed to increase thermal conductivity. These are steel tubular sheathed heaters, brazed to a c.I. Flanges that are provided with thermostat pocket, earthing terminals, & cap. Oil immersion heaters are designed to give years of trouble-free service when the tubes are completely covered with fluid, used on correct voltage and kept free of carbonization. They are widely used for fuel oil heating, oil circulating, for systems, which supply hot oil to plastic & chemicals processes, oil jacketted kettles and similar equipments.
