• Variable speed units speed variators are compact in construction, much useful where infinitely variable speed drive is required. Motor shafts power is transferred by friction between cone mounted on motor shaft adopter and friction disc on axially free transmission shaft. Speed variation by handwheel or by other mechanism in place of handwheel. It gives output ratio 6:1/7:1, input power 0.25 to 2.2 kw and output speed from 1.5 to 250 or more obtained by using input drive (induction motor) with different number of pole. Its applications are all light and heavy duty engineering industries, textile, printing, packaging, paper, cement, plastic and leather processing machinery, material handing equipment and many others. .
