• Proteq presents a range of screw driven microprocessor-based, tensile testing machines, manufactured by mechtric engineering ltd, uk. These machines, reliable, accurate, user-friendly and backed by good after sales service. They offer the latest precison, digital technology at reasonable prices, to carry out a variety of tensile, compression, bend and slow cyclic tests. The mechtric 7150 series machines are microprocessor controlled. They also allow, optionally, a pc interface through windows driven software. However, the machine can be controlled entirely from the console for those who do not wish to drive the machine through a pc. The console also features a single button controlled printout facility of the test results and graphs as a standard. The machines are supplied duly calibrated to an accuracy of 1% as per bs 1610 grade 1.0, which is the leading international standard and represents highest accuracy. It is also the equivalent of astm standard. Optional third party calibration certificate from namas, uk (equivalent of npl in india) is also available. The resolution of the system is 0.004% of full scale and tests can be done below the crosshead at up to 1,000 mm/min speeds.
