• This instrument is designed with totally indigenous technical expertise and components. Electronic anemometer has several benefits over the mechanical type in common use. To measure velocity, the mechanical anemometer needs integration with respect to time; whereas the electronic anemometer, when placed in the airflow to be measured, directly reads the air velocity in metre/second. The use of microcircuits makes the electronic anemometer, remarkably compact and trouble free. Besides the advanced electronics, the design incorporates many outstanding features: the sensing head cosists of a chemically etched stainless steel turbine, pivoted on re-enforced jewel bearing, making it extremely sensitive to minute changes in the air-flow; the non-optical, non-magnetic, non-contract transducer is insensitive to vibrations, dust, temperature, and humidity. .
